Campaign Story

My husband Max and I are parents to a vibrant, nearly 3-year-old son who fills our days with joy, laughter, and endless love. From the moment he was born, we dreamed of giving him a sibling and building our family. Since then, secondary infertility has carried a deeply layered emotional complexity when you’re already parents to one child, but are struggling with infertility as you try for another.

On one side, there’s genuine gratitude and joy. Your child is a living reminder of love and growth, and you’re reminded of the sacredness and miracle of parenthood. Yet underneath that joy, there’s often a quieter, heavier current. The longing for another child can make anything feel bittersweet and guilty for wanting more when you already have one. This duality is rarely spoken aloud: being both fulfilled and in the waiting.

For the past year and a half, we’ve been trying to grow our family. We’ve completed difficult and emotionally draining months of timed intercourse after I was diagnosed with PCOS, each ending in disappointment. As we face the reality of infertility, we also face the financial strain that makes IVF feel just out of reach. We work hard and live carefully, but like many families, we’re stretched thin and living paycheck to paycheck.

These donations would give us something we’ve been holding onto with hope – a real chance. A chance to move forward medically. A chance to complete our family. A chance to bring another piece of our heart into this world. Receiving this support wouldn’t just be about finances; it would be about restoring the hope that’s carried us through each month of trying, praying, and waiting.
